A professional couple located in Verona is seeking a full time Nanny-Household Manager now through September 2017. Their youngest will begin preschool in the fall and at that time they would like to transition to having a nanny ~25 hours per week. The full time nanny will have first option at the part time position, but it is not a requirement.
They have four children ages 12, 9, 7 and 4 years old. The nanny will arrive around 7:50am and work until 5:45/6:00pm. The main duties include engaging their 4 year old when she is home; staying on top of laundry; keeping the house tidy and organized; making sure that kids’ do their daily routines (e.g. homework, practicing guitar, driving kids to activities on time); feeding the kids relatively nutritious snacks and running occasional errands.
They describe their ideal candidate as efficient, a true multi-tasker, flexible, unfazed by a bigger family and most importantly can help keep their family’s lives on track. At the same time, the nanny must be engaging with the kids and not lose sight of the fact that through all the busy activities, the nanny still needs to build a connection with the children. She needs to be positive and have the energy to keep up with 4 active boys and 1 girl. The nanny needs to be responsible and organized because she is in charge of the day and for the most part only has their 4 year old or for a few hours has no kids to take care.
The pay range for this position is flexible based on experience including 2 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays, personal days and money towards health insurance. They also provide a vehicle for the nanny to use during working hours.
